No matter how many times you have visited Ibiza, unless you have dived into the sea, you still do not know it. Coves that cannot be accessed by land, spectacular cliffs and surprising rocky formations can only be visited by those willing to leave dry land for a few hours. There is no doubt about it. The spectacular images of the Ibizan western coast deserve a visit via a sea trip. And for this it is not necessary to rent a private boat. You only need to join one of the many organised excursions that start from the Sant Antoni port and bring travellers to emblematic locations along the coastline and the neighbouring village of Sant Josep de Sa Talaia.
The beatiful Benirrás cove, the Es Amunts cliffs, the Ses Margalides islets, the peculiar outline of Cap Nunó, the Punta Galera terraces, the Sa Conillera and des Bosc islets, the coves of Bassa, Conte, Vedella, Molí and Cala d'Hort, amongst many others, and the iconic islets of Es Vedrá and Es Vedranell will show up during these excursions, an activity we strongly recommend during your stay in Sant Antoni and Ibiza.
Without forgetting another great excursion that will allow travellers to enjoy a day on the island of Formentera. Whichever route you take, we will remind you to take pictures. You will fins yourself unable to stop!
The offer is varied both in regards to the type of boat - some with a glass pane that allows watching the seabed - and the type of excursion: more festive if timed for the sunset, such as the one that takes place every Sunday at Cala Benirrás when the beach fills up with people dancing to the rhythm of the bongos. In each case the excursion service is only offered regularly during the summer season, which is between the months of May and October.
The following companies organise excursions along the western coast of Ibiza departing from Sant Antoni de Portmany.
