Hostal La Torre

Ctra.

Very cute but very expensive. A small beer €0.5, one with lemon €7. Excessive

We went to see the sunset at Christmas... The place is beautiful and the terrace is very well decorated. We asked for two teas because it was cold and they told us that the coffee machine had been broken for a month. We insisted if they could heat the water with the microwave to the astonishment of the waitress. With the prices they charge, what I would have expected is that they would at least attend to my basic needs as a customer.

We came for the New Years Eve meal and drinks package. It wasn't cheap but we all thought it was good value with a tasty oyster appetiser, steak tartare bao buns and king crab starters, octopus or lamb main and chocolate desert. Nice wines included and fun party hats, whistles etc. Service was top notch from lovely friendly staff. They took great care of our grand daughter and spoiled her with a fancy drink and a giant desert tray which she loved. Lovely restaurant with soft night time lightning and enjoyable Spanish music.

Went there for a pre-birthday dinner in the end of Oct, the viewers were amazing, quality of food was out there and the overall ambiance of the place 💯💯 Next time I’m in Ibiza I will make sure to stay in the hotel. It has the atmosphere only few places can upkeep ✨

My review is only for the restaurant. The food is expensive for what you get and my steak wasn’t top quality i would say - but the location and service was good. Sadly we missed a full sunset because of the weather, but it was still beautiful and very romantic anyway. And our two dogs were also made very welcome too! Would recommend, but expect to spend more money here than in other options nearby.

A very quiet and pleasant place to have a drink or a snack while watching the sunset. It has magic.

Hostal la Torre has quickly become one of our top choices for breakfast or brunch on the island of Ibiza. The stunning view is unmatched, making it a prime spot for dolphin watching. The staff provides excellent service, and the charming atmosphere sets the stage for a memorable meal. Their diverse breakfast and lunch options cater to a variety of tastes and preferences. While I used to dine here in the evenings, I must admit that I no longer do so due to the introduction of minimum spends. Previously, they had a reasonable cancellation policy for no-shows, which I understood. However, the minimum spend requirement makes me feel pressured as a customer, even though we would likely meet it anyway. Despite this, I wholeheartedly recommend Hostal la Torre for their fantastic brunch experience. In fact, we've already enjoyed it twice this week alone!

Amazing place, was a hidden secret but now becoming much busier. Make a reservation to be sure of getting a table for dinner. Watching the sunset whilst eating incredible food and drink is a wonderful way of spending an evening. It's about 10 minutes outside of San Antonio. Parking can be a challenge, but it's well managed. Would recommend

This review is only for the restaurant. Great location. Food is okay. But you pay double the price just for the view. Basic hamburger with fries: 32 euro. Cheapest bottle if wine: 40 euro. We found some great little restaurants in town and the main land where we paid half the price for equal or better quality food. The restaurant was full, even on a weekday off season, so I understand that they ask these prices. Still, I feel a bit ripped off after comparing to other restaurants.

There were lots to love about Hostal La Torre, i definitely recommend booking one of the two suites, the only two rooms at the front of the hotel that overlook the sea and the sunset. The rest of the rooms are fine. Quite small and with no view but clean and fresh. The hotel and restaurant/ terrace area is gorgeous decor and gardens we loved it.Food and drinks were fine but we wouldn’t go back to the hotel because of their problem with wasps which were everywhere. You couldn’t get rid of them when you ate and drank there, they swarmed around your table at breakfast, making what should have been a peaceful experience with a stunning view pretty bad.If they can sort this out it would fabulous.

Beautiful location, friendly staff. Food was okay. They don’t have many vegan options. (Only one.. a salad). It’s 2023. This is unacceptable for a tourist destination. That being said, the music was wonderful and the view was marvelous.

Owned by the Mambo group who continues its selection of great locations with basic food at tourist rip off prices. This is great place to visit for a quick look... otherwise you must book and have minimum spend by giving your credit card details in advance. 1 of the islands best sunset locations if you dont mind spending a lot $$$$A walk past this location along the coastline cliff front is FREE ! So is a picnic there ;)))

It is a place great for its view, atmosphere is also cool, still after years of coming in, service is usually not good which is something very important to feel comfortable. Personal usually do not have good manners, sometimes they will ask you to leave your table with very bad conducts, they have other bookings and courtesy is not their strenght. Food is good, bit simple however well cooked. Beautiful they take care of some nice cats around, commonly more friendly than waiters. Good to visit, just be aware of what I said before.

My friends stayed here and I was delighted to receive an invitation to watch the sunset from the rocks with the bustling restaurant and cool DJ in the background. Also fantastic during the daytime even if you're not staying here for a tea and snack afore a glorious hike in to the hills along the coast. Just stunning.

We were 4 and had dinner in the restaurant, the setting and food were amazing, the staff are lovely but a bit forgetful. I like the remote position of this hostal/restaurant.I would have given 5⭐️ BUT it’s over priced. I don’t mind paying for great food and service but there are exceptional restaurants on this island that are better value and I thought that this was very expensive, my main course consisted of a very small piece of seabass on a small bed of mash potato with mushrooms €38! I won’t go back there even though the setting and food were very good, because it’s overpriced.

We had a truly unique and wonderful sunset dinner at Hostal La Torre. The atmosphere, staff, food and view out over the sea at sunset were all great and made for a memorable evening. We chose the no-minimum option and had a dinner of worthy fish, seafood and vegan choices for 50€ per person.

Magical. That about sums this place up. Situated on the rocks facing west. We arrived at 7:30 and had the table for the night. We had a perfect view of the sunset and what a sunset it was, with a perfect musical accompaniment provided by the residents DJ. As we got closer to sunset, what appeared to be a coach trip of sunset revellers settled onto the rocks for the show. This only added to the experience.Food was good, service was fantastic, thanks to Omar from Milan via Greenwich. Service was not rushed but not slow; the perfect pitch to ensure we could enjoy the show.A bizarre taxi escapade followed the meal but that story is for another day, however, again it added to the night. Thanks to the lovely Spanish couple (fellow diners) who assisted us.I would highly recommend this place. Absolute magical restaurant. It will be remembered for many years.

The scenery is amazing, a must do when you visit ibiza and want to see the sun settle in the ocean! The vibe with the live DJ and friendly staff make it a great experience. The food and cocktail quality is very good. However, the portions are very very small… We understand that you pay for the experience, but the prices are way too high compared to the portions that you get on your plate, especially for the main course.

There cannot be a more beautiful setting to have dinner and watch the sun go down. The terrace, lower terrace and top of the rocks are laid with simple tables and beautiful crockery to create a chilled dining experience.Food was delicious - simple dishes excellently served. The serving staff were lovely - friendly and informed about the menu so able to give advice about drinks and dishes. The DJs play chilled music until the sun goes down and then up the tempo. We spent 4 hours sitting, eating, chatting and watching the sun go down …. and would happily go back again tonight!

Awesome service!!!The waiter took away finished dishes, cleaned our table, asked if we needed something exactly at the right time, the drinks came very fast and the food right in time. Despite the reviews of being too expensive, we thought it was very worth it. They had a great bottle of Bourgogne on the menu and the view of the sunset was wonderful. Oh, and a very good DJ! Not too loud, not too hard or too soft. Good vibes. Definitely recommend it!
