Ibiza Blue Challenge
Swimming, running and cycling through the most inaccessible Sant Antoni
Few competitions are held in Ibiza more exhausting than this triathlon, which runs along the cliffs and roads of the most inaccessible rural Ibiza, through the area of Santa Agnès and Sant Mateu. Dozens of athletes participate, most of them from outside the island, and face a 2.5-kilometre swim, a 90-kilometre cycle route and another 13 kilometres of running. Its concept avoids mass competition and seeks to return to the beginnings of triathlon, with extreme respect for nature in its purest form.
