Top Class Inter-island Regatta
Cruise class sailing boats compete in Ibiza and Formentera, starting and finishing in Portmany Bay
The first Top-Class Inter-Island Regatta, organised by the Club Nàutic Sant Antoni and scoring for the Spanish Mediterranean Cruiser Cup. This is a national competition, included in the official calendar of the RFEV. The regatta is aimed at the ORC Cruise class and, as a guest class, the Mini Transat. The race starts and finishes at the port of Sant Antoni and is expected to go round some other islands or nearby islets, with a route of at least 70 miles, as established by the regulations. This will be decided at the last moment depending on the weather forecast. It could go around Formentera, Dragonera, Cabrera, the island of Benidorm or Las Columbretes. The participation of many boats from the area of Levante and the Balearic Islands is expected.
