El Bistro de Stephan

C/ Obispo Torres, 3 – Sant Antoni de Portmany

Stephan’s Bistro is a small trendy restaurant located in the centre of Sant Antoni, in Calle Bisbe Torres. Its mix of Mediterranean and French cuisine makes up a menu with very creative dishes.

Micuit tuna, slow-cooked leg of lamb, fillet steak with Café de Paris sauce, crispy duck confit and the day’s dishes with fresh local produce, such as grouper, amberjack or salads with Ibizan tomato, are some of the specialities prepared daily by its chef.

One of the best meals I’ve had, and likely THE best tapas restaurant I’ve been too. I’m from Manchester, where there are many good tapas restaurants, and this place blew them out of the water. The food didn’t just taste great but looked magnificent. Would recommend to anyone going to San Antonio.

The food there was AMAZING! We served food there twice during our stay, and both times we had lovely Alexis as our waiter. Both, the lady which seated us (unfortunate we didn't retain her name) and Alexis speak multiple languages ( spanish, french and english) so communicating with them was a joy! The whole atmosphere and their energy made us feel as visiting some old friends which have followed their passion - FOOD! With open hearts we can recommend the whole menu, since we had tried 7 different dishes and ALL of them were amazingly tasty, presented with attention to detail and as a bonus, fast! For us, the price is more then justified. The portions were very fitted, good quality ingredients and the food tasted again, amazing! We strongly recommend to give them at least one visit, you will definitely not regret it! Warm greetings, Oana and Denis!

Lovely French bistrot right off the busy street of San Antonio — the food selection is a Mediterranean Spanish cuisine with a French twist and it tastes DIVINE!Loved the tuna steak, and it was the biggest steak I have ever had or seen in my life! The mussels were exquisite and deserve a special place in my heart!

We left El Bistro happily with full and satisfied bellies. My kids said they wanted to return the next night. Needless to say the food was delicious. The stuffed mushrooms had an amazing sauce and were cooked just perfectly. The duck confit was delightfully crunchy and flavorful. I am salivating thinking about them right now 😆 I highly recommend their tapas. My family also got the fish of the day (tuna) and the menu of the day (steak). Everything was devoured including the dessert (apple pastry). The waitress was also so kind to chat with. She was obviously working hard to manage all the tables but she took time for us. It was a very welcoming experience.
