The Es Ventall restaurant is located in Sant Antoni town centre, with two independent entrances (Calle Soledad and Calle Cervantes). The premises are spacious and decorated in a modern style. For more than 35 years, Es Ventall has been preparing the most traditional recipes of Ibizan cuisine. Today, under the leadership of José Miguel Bonet, heir to the family tradition, it offers a menu based on the typical Ibizan cuisine, with a more modern touch but painstakingly respecting the essence of Pityusan cuisine and a using a careful selection of local products and ingredients. Some of the specialities are the various rice dishes and squid with sobrassada. The typical desserts are a must.

The best pig's trotters I've ever had were here; the prawn croquettes and all the food in general were spectacular; the service was 10/10. The waitress Lara was very professional and helpful!

We ordered paella which was fine but we it was quite oily and salty, the desert was unfortunately abysmal (some form of basil cream and pastry) which would be awarded negatives points it was that bad.
When we first arrived the staff was very friendly and accommodating but the actual server we got was not that good. When collecting plates off our table they was literally talking over us to other staff and dropping food off the plate.
From this experience I actually have no idea how this was awarded a michelin star.

The service is amazing here. I usually can’t drink wine because it isn’t clearly labeled as vegan on the menu but they have many vegan wines here, just ask! The staff was not frustrated by my questions and helped me buy a bottle that made my mouth water. My friends got the paella here and said it was amazing!

The food was delicious but the bread… oh my! They make their own bread and it shows.
I ordered the shrimp croqueta as appetizer and it was a delicious bite.
I had the 'mero' as main dish (see video).
Each plate is served as a piece of art, and the flavors are really unique.
Congratulations to the chef!
This was my second time at this restaurant. I found it 4 years ago and had dinner by the fig tree. Truly special. I was looking forward to returning to Ibiza just to go eat here again!

Excellent food and wonderful staff! If you want to experience authentic, high-quality local food in Ibiza, I can’t recommend this place enough. At first, it might seem a little pricey compared to some other options, but in my opinion, many of the overrated “sunset restaurants” are actually more expensive while offering much lower quality. This place is the real deal and absolutely worth it. ✨

From the outside, Es Ventall looks completely unassuming, but stepping inside reveals something truly special. This family-run restaurant has a quiet confidence that immediately puts you at ease. Whether you’re seated indoors or in the courtyard beneath the old olive tree, the setting feels thoughtful and intimate, perfectly framing each course of the tasting menu. Lovely dinner and vibe. Me and my friend had the tasting menu and since I had some allergies the staff really tried to make it work and arrange different plates. High quality food, everything tasted superb and the wine pairing was really worth it. You get to try different types of wines and local ones. Maybe service was a bit too fast sometimes since it’s a lot of food and glasses.
Great atmosphere too and would definitely recommend for a special night out.

Another year without missing my appointment on this site to close the season. The first time was a good experience. But now it is sublime, tasting menu for 2 people, flavor, perfect execution, there is not a bite that goes down. The pampered service, perfect timing. There is a lot of love in what these people do, thanks to Miguel for the treatment.

Absolutely spectacular food! Authentic Ibizan restaurant, the waiters are actually from here and know a lot about the tradition. The Bullit de Peix is a must to try, but come hungry as it’s a lot of food. Would definitely come back next time we’re in Sant Antoni. The whole restaurant is beautiful, although next time we would definitely try to reserve a table in the garden.

In the heart of San Antonio de Portmany, Ibiza, we can find this pleasure for the senses, flavors, textures, experiences... A restaurant with Ibizan flavor and modern touches. On the outside it is discreet, but inside it has a patio run by a large fig tree that is wonderful... They achieve a fresh, pleasant, and romantic atmosphere with the lighting of candles. The decoration is between modern and traditional. Nice and attentive staff. The exquisite food. The rice dishes, the Ibizan shrimp croquettes, the oysters with caviar or acevichadas, the sam... incredible... and of course the meat, the ribeye... tremendous.
The reward for all this is guaranteed by its Michelin star and its Repsol sun, awarded in 2024. Everything is fantastic.

We had rice a banda with shrimp and cuttlefish which was delicious. The warm pumpkin salad was very good when you took the combination of all the ingredients at once, if not a bit bitter. The service was excellent, they let us wait sitting at the table while the restaurant opened and the staff were still having dinner. The decoration of the place was exquisite, it was also December and the Christmas decorations were beautiful. A must-see place in San Antonio without a doubt.

Truly excellent dining experience. Unique combinations that end up tasting delicious. It was on the pricier side but 100% worth the price. Waiters were on point and very knowledgeable about the offerings. Would definitely visit again next time Im in Ibiza

Thanks for an amazing dinner. We just arrived on Saturday night and the restaurant was 1 block away from the hotel. Very good service. The food was amazing, flavourful, colourful, full of very good textures and excellent presentation.

We tried the tasting menu with the wine and liked it a lot... next time we will eat al la Carte...

This place is amazing!!! Highly recommend. I went there with my husband and we ended up getting the tasting menu along with the wine pairings. It’s a bit of a splurge but you definitely won’t regret it. Their food is superb (definitely one of the innovative restaurants giving you unusually tasty combinations - loved it), service is great, ambiance.. just excellent.

What a charming place! So glad we made the effort to try it! Located on the west side of the island, this is a tiny gem inside of the San Antonio neighborhood. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and outside is right under a large fig tree.
The menu is a lovely mix of Spanish delights. They have a daily recommendation menu - with lovely freshly caught fish.
A must try are the beets, strawberries and almond cream. It was the most fantastically tasty dish.
The staff are very welcoming, and while they could do with a few more of them, the pace of dinner is a relaxed 2-2.5hr meal.
Only watch out is parking! Make sure to arrive early as it can take 20min or so to find a spot!

The setting of the restaurant is unbelievably stunning. The large open kitchen also was a big attraction for me. We had 6 starters, 4 of them were really good (best is artichoke salad) and 4 main. The fish was undercooked in my opinion. The gout was actually a good surprise, great flavour. Paella was also great.
We had 2 desserts that sounded weird but ended up to be a smashing success. Fruit curry (yes I know sound weird) and semi liquid almond cake. Staff were mostly friendly.

OH MY GOD! Poetry on a plate. And art. And just spectacular meal. I am still dreaming about that dinner because hands down it’s making it to the books of the best meals I’ve ever had. Kudos to the team and chefs and fantastic service.
The artichoke salad has a perfect combination of flavours, crunch and softness, spice and sweetness and tart flavour. Sea bass tartare melts in your mouth. Beef tartare is actually hard to explain but I wanted another one. We got a daily special off the menu which was some local fish with a zucchini and shrimp tartare — I guess we had a total of 3 that night hahahaha we paired it with grille baby lettuce buds. Fantastic! All that with a bottle of local biodynamic wine that changed its flavour with time.
Can’t forget about the dessert. That cheesecake… no words. And also fruit curry? What a fun take on a dish.
Truly looking forward to returning here one day again!
