Wonderful location in the port of San Antonio and a very relaxing atmosphere. We went practically at the last possible time, so we were super relaxed. The staff was very friendly and organized, and the prices were typical for the island, but the quality was truly top-notch. I tried both the bread with aioli and the patatas bravas as appetizers, but the main course consisted of this excellent "Arroz con Atún Rojo." A little complicated to eat, but delicious!

A really great atmosphere. The food and drink prices are a bit on the high side, but acceptable given the ambiance! The selection of non-alcoholic drinks was limited – this could be improved! However, they did chill a non-alcoholic beer for me separately at my table! A fantastic evening, especially with live music! Highly recommended!

The atmosphere on the terrace is beautiful, and having a DJ playing in the background creates a nice vibe. Unfortunately, that is where the positive experience ends.
The food was very mediocre, especially considering the prices. The quality simply does not justify what you pay. We ordered the tomato and strawberry salad for €21. The presentation looked attractive, with frozen orange shavings on top, but the taste was a complete disappointment. The tomato was just a very ordinary, tasteless supermarket tomato. The waitress actually recommended this dish as one of the restaurant’s highlight – definitely not something I would recommend.
The service was also extremely disappointing. Everything was very slow and the waiters seemed completely unhurried, even though the restaurant was not particularly busy.
And then came the most unpleasant part. In restaurants in this region, it is quite common to receive a small complimentary herbal liqueur (a “chupito”) after dinner as a digestif. We received nothing and nobody offered us one. However, when we checked the bill, we noticed that these drinks had actually been included and then marked as “invitación gratis” (complimentary).
We asked the waitress where our chupitos were. Her answer was: “Oh, we gave them to the wrong table.” We then asked whether some tables receive them and others don’t. She replied that apparently it depends on the “situation” and on the restaurant. 😂
Honestly, this was both amusing and very unpleasant. It is difficult to believe that this was simply a mistake, especially when the drinks were already recorded on the bill as complimentary.
I would therefore strongly encourage the management to look into how these complimentary drinks are being handled and whether they are actually being served to the guests they are supposedly assigned to.
We left with a very unpleasant impression. A beautiful terrace and good music cannot compensate for mediocre food, poor service and this kind of questionable treatment of guests.
Money spent, but unfortunately no real enjoyment in return.

We had the special closed menu at Villa Mercedes and absolutely loved it. Every course was delicious, beautifully presented and full of flavour.
The service was just as impressive — the waiters were incredibly efficient, fast, attentive and always polite, even though the restaurant was very busy.
A beautiful setting, excellent food and genuinely great service. We had a wonderful evening and would definitely recommend Villa Mercedes! 👌

What an amazing night we had. Lovely tasty food and fantastic service in an amazing setting. Sara our waitress was so attentive and knowledgeable and looked after us so well. The walk to the toilets was so pretty 😍

We had an amazing dinner at Vila Mercedes. Both mains were absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, full of flavour.
A special shout‑out to Sara, who delivered outstanding service from start to finish. She was warm, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Her energy and kindness truly stood out 😍🤩

Had an unforgettable evening at Villa Mercedes.
The atmosphere is absolutely magical set in a beautiful historic villa with a garden that feels straight out of a movie. The food was outstanding, full of flavor and beautifully presented, and the cocktails were just as impressive.
What really made the night special was the service attentive, friendly Andrea and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling over the top.
Perfect spot for a relaxed yet elegant dinner in Ibiza. Highly recommend!

We ate here the first time in 2004. And 20 years later the quality of the food is still excellent. The staf is making you feel very welcome. The accommodation is still the same high quality as it was. Being able to maintain the same high level quality is amazing.

This is by far the best restaurant I have visited since 2022.... which is when I was last here, of course! The ambience is amazing, the music is excellent. The food is simply superb. Prepared with love and served in style with a lot of attention to detail.
A 'must visit' place if you visit Ibiza.
I can not rate the restaurant highly enough.

Beautiful location, matched by the beautiful building, grounds, ambience and wonderful service.
Pablo the manager really looked after us, always only too happy to help which made it extra special.
Live music was chilled and pleasant and the atmosphere was what we needed, away from the loud hustle and bustle at the end of our evening
Drinks were perfectly reasonable and good quality
I'm sure we will return before our holiday ends

Villa Mercedes is one of my favourite restaurants in San Antonio (and even Ibiza). Exceptional service by all the staff, especially Jorge that attended to us. He treated us in a very profesional and friendly manner, recommended us a delicious wine which paired perfectly with our food, and knew all the intricacies of the menu. He was amazing and treated us like royalty!! The food is absolutely fantastic!! (I fell in love with the flan). There’s a private DJ playing chilled tunes and really beautiful lighting with a great view of the harbour. I’ll be back again and again and again. Thanks so much for a wonderful night.

I loved this bar-restaurant in an old modernist villa overlooking the port. I only had a cocktail, so I can't evaluate the food. The bar is on several terraces and the garden and has a spectacular atmosphere.

Was some at gate to get your custom .then there was no one to serve muscles good steak was inedible. When asked by waiter how food was we told him he then said that's how steak should be then tried to row with me stay away lots better and friendlier restaurants in san antoni

We thought it was a spectacular place, the food was very delicious, the service was very good and the place was beautiful. For me, ideal to enjoy a quiet evening, enjoy the food and that feeling of being on vacation.
As a point to keep in mind is that we did not see a specific section for bread and water on the menu, they offer them but keep in mind that they will charge you for them.
Otherwise we left delighted and with the promise that if we return to the island we will repeat.

It has wonderful decor and chill vibe music but unfortunately the vegetarian options are poor. Theres only 1 option on the menu or they can take the meat off a salad but they'll still charge you full price. As long as you're prepared to pay for everything including condiments like ketchup & mayonnaise then this is the place for you. It's a totally different experience than prior to Covid when it was elegant but relaxed with great food and very attentive staff.

Absolutely terrible… avoid at all costs so many complaints not sure how there isn’t more bad reviews! The lamb chops no meat on them and then told this is a baby lamb?!!! 3 pieces of pop corn chicken in a cesar salad that was 20 euro, the steak was very rare yes this could of been rectified but I was told this was medium rare. When I ask to speak to The manager was no where to be seen we have to explain to 3 different waiters the issue no one is in charge. No management in sight we offered to pay the drinks and the bread starters which was nice. The mains let the whole thing down! The venue again great but please avoid unless you want to pay top money for poor quality. The pic is of the lamb chops below and then the steak! Zero negotiation or compromise even tho most of the people from our party complained.

I can’t fault this place, the service was a master class in hospitality, effortless and subtle. Lavinia was a delight to be served by, such a natural in hospitality giving menu recommendations and to hear the restaurant has only reopened two weeks ago is credit to the team who look like they’ve worked together years! (Disregard the older reviews on here is my advice!) We didn’t have to top up our wine glasses ourselves once! The sommelier/manager gave suggestions based on meal choices and again, the service attention to detail was impeccable, you can see where the team get it from. As a hospitality industry professional myself for 30 years, this is a place not to be missed! Fantastico!

Place is excellent in pressure selling tactics… the waiter told us we have to have drinks first because the barman is very talented. Drinks were about 18 euros. He didn’t show us the food menu till we ordered drinks. Then recommendations for food is crab leg at 95 euro. And he repeated himself on how much it is great. Portions were small for price and not tasting as expected. Atmosphere is great because of decorations and live music. Other than that it’s a place that’s run by crooks. Keep away

Me and my wife ate here last night, it was quite late so the restaurant was very quiet. We had a few cocktails very nice!! Had some bread and olives very good Bread to be fair. We hand the king Crab to share as we was told it servers 2 people. This was definitely not the case. One leg not claw was not enough. They could do with some green beans with pine nuts with olive oil al dente style or sum Broccoli at €90 a little over priced. Saying that it was amazing 😍. And the building was beautiful 👏 ❤️ staff was great and knowledgeable. Thank for a lovely evening. Next time I definitely having the wagyu beef.

Made a return visit last night 18/08/22 and it is still very good but there were a few hiccups... we ordered the bread basket & aoli on arrival and whilst chatting time passed by and after 30 mins I asked where it was and had to order again ... fair enough but it then took a further 30 mins for the starters ( tables near us had their starters & mains by the time our starters arrived ) anyhow the aubergine in a teriyaki sauce plus prawns were really good. For our mains we both had the slow cooked cod , cooked to perfection and delicious but the portions were extremely small, I'm not suggesting a full cod but at the price charged I did feel underwhelmed... it was served on a side dish.
I don't like to be over critical but there you go
We visited Villa Mercedes and had a great dinner so it was a no brainer to call in again and we're so happy we did as it was superb.
Our waitress was so nice .... really made us feel welcome, so thank you 👏👏
Having read good comments about the fish tacos we ordered these and garlic king prawns for our starters and yes the tacos are very good, prawns delicious.
For our mains I had the bbq ribs ( must be the best I've ever had and I know my ribs 😁) served with yucca chips and a side order of mac & cheese. My wife had the fillet mignon, cooked to perfection and accompanied by peppers padron and fries. Both mains were outstanding so great job by the chefs !!!
Prices are at the higher end but you do get what you pay for and that excellent service, amazing food in beautiful garden setting.
No hesitation in recommending Villa Mercedes 10/10

We came here to celebrate my Dad's 80th birthday and had an amazing time. We were spoilt rotten from beginning to end by our waiter Mika, who couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming to our group, giving us birthday cava on arrival and putting a special birthday sparkler on my dad's dessert!
The restaurant is beautiful set in a converted villa and its gardens and the location is superb looking out over the marina across the bay and feels very special. Luckily the food was also fantastic and matched up to the setting. We started with calamari and both types of croquettes which were all really delicious. Then myself and my dad had the sirloin steak which was cooked to perfection. Others in our group had the cod and turbot and pork ribs (enormous portion) which they also really enjoyed. Thank you Mika and Villa Mercedes - a perfect birthday treat!

Definitely paying for the venue. We ordered garlic shrimp; obviously over frozen as they were mushy and there was a white film on the shrimp. I wanted to turn them back but my husband wouldn’t let me. Fingers crossed we don’t get sick tonight. Glasses of wine very small for €6.50. Service okay but one of the waiters running his hands through his hair, putting it up in a bun. And then he is serving food? Gross!!
Based on the less than mediocre shrimp we decided to save € and share a burger. It was okay, bun was burned. Best part of the meal were the fries. Would I recommend this place? Nope! Go somewhere else cheaper. Over priced for less than mediocre food. I wish I could share a picture of the shrimp. Check out tripadvisor first that !

Beautiful restaurant situated on the marina in San Antonio. Shared mussels and calamari for starters followed by a fantastic steak dish a cod dish and of course a bottle of vino. Impressed with the choice on offer. Staff super friendly and and great way to spend a Saturday evening

The perfect placebo Ibiza! The villa is amazing, we had the dine before 9 menu which is a 3 course meal for £25 and the food was delicious!!! All waiters were super nice and helpful. Will definitely go back!

We specifically went on Sunday evening as they had a jazz duo playing. The restaurant is wonderful and perfect for both families, large parties and couples. The food & drink is a tad pricey but you certainly get what you pay for as it has to be the best meal I had whilst in Ibiza. It's the perfect restaurant in a perfect location and highly recommended by me 🙂
