Sant Antoni presents “A winter full of emotions” at the WTM

The Sant Antoni de Portmany Local Council will have a presence at the World Travel Market (WTM) trade fair to be held in London from 7-9 November, introducing a new campaign to promote the municipality during low season.

The Director of Tourism, Miguel Tur, explained that the campaign “A winter full of emotions” is framed as part of the campaign “Sant Antoni 365, Sunshine all year round” and is designed to showcase the municipality’s attractions in the winter months in order to encourage tourism beyond the summer season and diversify the activities on offer.

The campaign is aimed at those countries with a direct relation with Ibiza during the off season such as United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands and Italy. A short promotional video, just two and a half minutes long, has been produced for this purpose for dissemination on social networks. The video will be officially presented at the Ibiza stand on Tuesday 8 November at 12 am.

Tur explained that “Our aim is to showcase Sant Antoni´s potential and attract visitors all year round so that they can discover our countryside, our culture and our cuisine, along with our sporting events and festivals during the low season, all of which makes our municipality an attractive destination 365 days of the year”

In this way, the Tourist Board continues to work on the Sant Antoni 365 campaign, which earlier this year launched the message that the municipality is open all year round with activities and attractions available throughout  all four seasons, such as the natural landscape, the climate, the cuisine, and the sporting and cultural events.
