Caló des Moro
C/ Santa Rosalía, 34 – Sant Antoni de Portmany
Es Caló des Moro, a name that reminds us of the close link between the island and the Moorish occupation, is a cove located in the urban area of Sant Antoni, in Ses Variades. It is reached by a pedestrian promenade that runs along the coastline, beyond the busy area of shops and bars where the crowds gather to enjoy the sunset.
It faces west and from its shore you can see the profile of the island of Conejera as well as the cluster of western islets that form a very characteristic feature of the area.
It is a small cove but with a generous strip of sand for stress-free sunbathing. With clear waters and rocky sides, it is an ideal spot to take a dip without having to move away from the town centre and it is surrounded by a wide range of restaurants.
